Our Products
These silver tin oxide alloys are produced through chemical processes and powder metallurgy techniques. The oxide content typically ranges from 8% to 12%. Tin oxide on its own does not provide the necessary electrical characteristics; therefore, it is combined with other oxides to enhance its properties for specific applications. The most popular grades include Bismuth Oxide, which offers excellent arc quenching characteristics and maintains consistent contact resistance throughout the life of the contact.
These alloys are generally supplied in the form of silver-backed strips.
